Private Tutoring – Forest Hill

Forest Hill Tutoring has a long history of supporting student success.  For almost three decades, we have worked closely with students, parents and teachers in identifying needs, establishing goals and designing programs that challenge and inspire.  Our one-on-one tutoring services include regular or occasional homework and curriculum support as well as more tailored sessions aimed at providing specific enrichment or remedial instruction in key skills and subject areas.

We pride ourselves on both the flexibility of our services and our student-centered approach. All of our tutors are subject specialists, many with graduate degrees and teaching certification, and all share a passion for teaching and learning. They strive to convey how to learn, and not just what to learn, and incorporate critical thinking and effective study skills into each session.

We provide tutoring support in all subjects, from junior kindergarten to postsecondary, and have extensive experience with a wide range of curricula, including Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) programs. We also offer more general organizational support for clients wishing to develop targeted planning, scheduling and time-management skills.

Tutoring services are conducted on-site at our tutoring centre, as well as online through the videoconferencing platform of the client’s choice.
